Job Description
Job DescriptionPrincipal Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain "on the floor" task instructions by working with management and hourly task experts (for example development, maintenance, and coach the work process of Standard work documents and one point lessons OPL).
  • Assist in facilitating the maintenance of Certification Checklists and Integrated Lean Six Sigma Step-up Cards
  • Facilitate the maintenance of Safety Checklists.
  • Train employees utilizing the job training documentation, work with task experts to insure that "hands on training" is performed in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Complete evaluation of employee "readiness" through the established Certification Process.
  • Input data into the training database when required.
  • Complete process/task audits to report compliance to Kraft standard procedures and to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs.
  • Assist in information sharing of training needs and requirement as needed.
  • Complete hazard analysis on departmental processes/jobs.
  • Complete safety audits of departmental processes/tasks/jobs.
  • Actively participates on at least one KSRMP Committee.
  • Perform other tasks/duties as required by Supervision.
  • Actively participate and be a key member of the Education and Training Pillar

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Maintain safe environment
  • Fully comply with the work process of One Point Lessons and Standard Work.
  • Inspect equipment/procedures for defects and report defects to the proper people
  • Maintain GMP and PPE standards
  • Must be comfortable presenting in group and one-on-one settings. Keep work cell clean and free of debris (5S).

Quality

  • Comply with all procedures and specifications to ensure product safety and integrity.
  • Maintain and follow all 5S programs in plantwide work areas.
  • Understand and assist in training in quality suites
  • Maintain an understanding of departmental regulatory requirements.

Cost

  • Able to access and comply with all procedures to help reduce cost by eliminating wastes
  • Work with equipment owners and department leads to suggest improvements to help reduce costs and improve procedures.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of key measurements and cost drivers. Make go/no go decisions.

Delivery

  • Assist with onboarding of new employees.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the production processes
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the production schedule.
  • Assist quality, operations and maintenance in troubleshooting both production and sanitation.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale (QCDSM).
  • Participate and/or facilitate Green Room meetings to review procedures, compliance, new products, new equipment/process installations and training needs.

Safety

  • Comply with all corporate, plant and department safety rules.
  • Support and participate on Kraft Safety and Risk Management program.
  • Follow all guidelines pertaining to production procedures in order to insure a safe workplace.

Regulatory

  • Maintain an understanding of departmental regulatory requirements.

Training

  • Attend and maintain all required safety training.
  • Attend and participate in plant floor training as it relates to job duties.
  • Deliver training employees as required by process needs.
  • Training Chapter Champion for KHMS- People Pillar.
  • Provides input, documents requirements, and supports the design and delivery of training.

Organizational Relationships: (Identify nature and frequency of both internal and external contacts made by this position.)

  • HR Manager & Production Supervisors - Daily guidance and support to complete tasks.
  • Line Technician and Coordinators - Shift/crew task/work review
  • Center of Excellence Pillar Manager - Daily guidance & support to complete tasks.
  • Site Business Unit managers - Periodic meetings to review support needs and requirements. Production project reviews on an as needed basis.
  • Plant Manager - Quarterly Business review meetings and strategic business direction.
  • Site Maintenance - Informal and formal reviews of projects/process improvements, notifications and work orders.
  • Site and Area Engineering - Informal and formal reviews of process design and efficiencies.
  • Safety - Resource for all safety related issues, including training.

GMP

Integrated Lean Six Sigma, Lean Kaizen (ability to learn)

DDI certified

Work as a team (Training team)

Ability to train and adapt to individual learning styles
