Preferred candidates will have demonstrated research and teaching experience in Educational Leadership. At least three years teaching experience and at least three years of experience in school or district leadership. Faculty must be eligible for and maintain North Carolina Teaching Licensure in School Administration. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with local schools, teachers, students and community members to support education across southeastern North Carolina.

The primary purpose of the Department of Educational Leadership & Specialties in the School of Education is to serve students who seek an undergraduate or graduate degree through approved educator preparation programs.

This is a tenure-track position with the primary purpose of teaching master-level school administration/educational leadership courses, as well as engaging in service and scholarship aligned with the profession and mission of the School of Education.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in educational leadership. The course load is three graduate level courses each semester.
