Your responsibilities

  • Design internal controls based upon IT Control Set Framework and Template
  • Ensure internal control design addresses IT and Business Critical Risk
  • Ensure readiness of documentation (Process execution, Flow charts, IPE)
  • Complete GRC entries for IT Controls - new and modifications as they arise
  • Perform Walkthrough and GRC Design Assessment in support of control owners
  • Ensure deficiencies are timely remediated with sustainable so-lutions; follow-up with a quality review post implementation to validate effectiveness
  • Perform GRC AAP (Application Assessment Process) and GRC DAP (Deficiency Assessment Process)
  • Perform roles and responsibilities assigned to the GRC CAR Local Process Owner
  • Lead and guide a team (internal/external) of resources to de-liver the Compliance as a Service (CaaS) supporting a set of cross-functional domain delivery IS departments
  • Support implementation of internal controls ensuring suffi-cient capacity and capabilities to operate and perform the controls requirements
  • Mentor and guide the work of a team to ensure end-to-end IC Compliance processes and procedures support the Business Process Owner, the Control Owner, the Control Performer, and others involved in ITGC implementation
  • Ensure (is accountable for) adequate evidence control performance monitoring to review results and provide performance transparency and measure the quality of the control performance validate corrections, mitigation plans are actioned and posted in official tools of evidence collection
  • Communicate and follow up with Control Owners and Control Performers
  • Appropriate training for supporting tools including docu-mentation and evidence monitoring tools
  • Respond and complete the ICoFR relevant internal controls questionnaires for relevant gate assessments
  • Support project managers and delivery teams to ensure ITGCs are effective for new build and project implementations
  • Review and map Service Organization Control Reports (SOC) and implement local controls for CUECs and or any mitigation for ABB controls not covered by the third-party SOC
Your background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Management, Computer Science, Business Systems, Finance or similar equivalent experiences with minimum 10 years of Information System (IS) experience in defined technologies and within relevant IS domain of expertise, compliance functions
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, the ADM organization, IS service owners/managers and the outsourcing service providers
  • Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
  • Strong leadership with the ability to guide multi-cultural partly virtual teams including 3rd party
  • Strong analytical skills and decision making ability
  • Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with others
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and lead presentations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial
  • Hands-on personality with "can do" attitude
  • Experience in effectively drive collaboration between teams
  • Excellent experience in objectively evaluating IS solutions and making recommendations, related to compliance implications
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies
  • Excellent experience in leading IS people who do not report directly (influence capability)
  • Solid experience of identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging compliance requirements and regulation (governmental and industry) and the potential application on the business' needs
  • Experience deploying SaaS solutions, configuring and integrating to corporate or business managed internal systems, and evaluating the compliance aspects of vendor solutions
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
