Description of primary duties and responsibilities: | Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit: The mission of Information Technology Services is to explore, implement, and support the uses of technology to achieve the University's academic and administrative objectives as stated in the University strategic plan. Primary Purpose of the Position: The purpose of the IT Project Manager is to oversee multiple technical projects. The candidate is expected to maintain strong relationships with the customer base to successfully meet university staff and student expectations and provide total customer support as a single point of contact for all issues relating to IT projects. Familiarity with best practices in project management is required. |
