As a Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) or Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment. This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including medication management, Ketamine Treatment, Neurofeedback, Pharmacotherapy, Psychotherapy, Office-Based Medically Supervised Detoxification, and more.


If you are located in Pinehurst, NC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely *, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications:

  • Obtains an LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT for independent practice in North Carolina
  • 1+ years of experience providing individual direct therapy in a clinical outpatient setting
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening upon hire
  • Ability to commute to the location in-person at least three days each week


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) for independent practice in North Carolina
  • 1+ years of experience providing individual direct therapy to children and adolescents in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents
