Are you looking to use your continuous improvement experience and knowledge to help our lead continuous improvement strategy?

The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for promoting and facilitating continuous improvement through the successful implementation of the Novanta Growth System (NGS). The CI Leader will support the Operations Leader in the implementation of NGS fundamentals and lean methodologies at Gemba to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitating cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems through process improvement.
  • Assisting in communicating change management plans and risk to all affected stakeholders or teams.
  • Providing training and support to team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Leading the implementation of the Novanta Growth System (NGS) at site level.
  • Conducting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Possess significant experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to lead cross-functional teams and drive change across the organization.
