In the process of generating and disseminating academic information and personalized requirements, we share knowledge through policies, practices, and programs for current students and their families, prospective students and their families, faculty, and other university professionals' campus wide. |
Primary Purpose of Position | The YEAR ONE and TWO Coordinator will provide direct services to students to meet the mission of the Center for Student Success; to increase student retention, persistence, progression, and graduation rates. This position is responsible for the coordination of the YEAR ONE (First-Year Experience) and our new initiative TWO (Sophomore Experience) programs, which are both designed to engage and assist students transition through their first and second year at the university. |
Job Description | The Coordinator will assist with the coordination, implementation, and assessment of the annual Summer Bridge program. As part of the Summer Bridge leadership team, the coordinator will assist with the day-to-day management of the program that includes but limited to responding to students' academic and personal concerns, serve as a liaison to offices from Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs. The Coordinator also oversees the development and implementation of large-scale programs and initiatives such as but limited to; FLIGHT, Pembroke Scholars, Fears of the First Years, HAWK Camp, and the annual Brave to Be First Achievement Ceremony.
